    Gratitude

    People can often feel awkward expressing gratitude. However, being able to say thank you to others nicely is a strong social skill, a skill that is well worth cultivating, a skill you need. We simply have to let go of our primal need for control, and surrender to the higher intelligence that is guiding, determining, and providing for everything. It takes desire, commitment, and work to develop a sense of gratitude.


    Gratitude Exercise

    In order to cultivate an attitude of gratitude, do the alphabet exercise from A to Z. List A to Z on a piece of paper and use each letter as a prompt for something that you are grateful for in your life and/or of all the fun experiences/people/places that you have enjoyed over the years.

    Example: (B – baseball) l I love the Red Sox, remember when dad and I had tickets (C - cuisine) I remember special romantic meals at our favorite restaurant. (E – Ecuador) We went to Ecuador on the best family vacation we ever had!

    Ejercicio de Gratitude

    Con el fin de cultivar una actitud de gratitud, realice el ejercicio del alfabeto de la A a la Z. Lista de la A a la Z en un pedazo de papel y utilice cada letra como símbolo de algo que se agradece en su vida y/o de todas las divertidas experiencias/personas/

    lugares que han disfrutado a lo largo de los años.

    Ejemplo: B – Beisol – a mi me encanta el béisbol Red Sox, recuerdo cuando papá y yo tenía entradas? C - Cena romántica especial - recuerdo fechas en nuestro favorito restaruant. E - Ecuador - las mejores vacaciones en familia que jamás hayamos tenido!


    Journal Exercise

    Journaling is an excellent way to process, explore, and express your feelings of gratitude. Keep a gratitude journal in which you write every day or as often as possible about your journey: Today, I experienced a moment of gratitude and it felt like . . .Today, I’m surprised that I feel . . .Today, I’m really missing . . .Today, I wish that . . .

    Ejercicio Diario

    Un diario es una excelente manera de procesar, explorar, I expresar sus sentimientos de gratitude. Mantener un diario oficial en la que se escribe cada día o tan a menudo como sea posible acerca de su viaje. Hoy, experimenté un momento de gratitud y sentí que....Hoy, estoy sorprendido de que me siento . .Hoy, estoy realmente faltando.....Hoy, deseo que . .
